Pic de Bugarach an important step in the Cathar Trail between mountains and scrubland. Templar ruins of Castle Albedun (Bézu) are visible. Bugarach played a role during the Albigensian Crusade. Bugarach lake is a popular area to enjoy picnics, Swimming and Fishing. Barbecue facilities are provided.
