Attractively furnished Studio Apartments in the historic Aude
Languedoc Roussillon town of Rennes les Bains. A Roman Spa town
steeped in history dating back to antiquity. Situated in the Thermal
Spa Resort Complex Studio Apartment 1 is on the fourth floor with
lift or stair access. It overlooks the river Sals with mountain views
beyond. Studio 2 is on the ground floor.

Beautiful scenery, superb climate with numerous outdoor activities
to be enjoyed throughout your holiday in South France. Cycling and
walking routes lead from the apartments where you can enjoy the
wonderful natural beauty of Rennes les Bains.

Take a picturesque walk along the river Sals and bathe like the
Romans did centuries ago at the remarkable 'Bain Doux'. Natural
water at 37° pours from suspended rocks. Renowned for its
curative properties holiday-makers can bathe, swim or laze amid
delightful rock pools. A very popular place for picnics.

Stroll from the Holiday Apartments to the Thermal heated outdoor
pool. Here you can relax and swim in the rich mineral water.

Evidence that the town was once Roman can be seen on the approach
road from Couiza. A floodlit monument of Roman architecture
complete with ancient Roman tubs and mosaic tiled floors is
prominent. The elevated bronze marker positioned here and at the
Serres bridge marks the Paris to Barcelona Meridian.

Creation has given this town four hot and five cold natural water
sources. Discover them locally beautiful nature spots where flora
and fauna add to the attraction.

Pic de Bugarach only 6km away is the highest regional peak with a
summit of 1231 metres you can experience a 360° panoramic view
over the Aude valley. UFO sightings have been well documented and
gave Steven Speilberg inspiration for 'Close Encounters. Another
sci-fi legend Jules Verne wrote "Journey to the centre of the
Earth" after his visit to Bugarach.

Walk to the local boulangerie here you can buy the daily bread,
croissants, cakes, quiche and pastries. A general store where almost
every item is catered for. A lively town square with pavement
cafe's and bars that serve meals of the region, sea food delights
and pizza. Wander through bookshops or art galleries a delightful
town where you will surely want to return.

Each Apartment sleeps 1 - 2. Tastefully furnished and decorated.

with hob, mini oven, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and utensils. Sofa
